Corsair Engineering deploys a variety of technologies designed to simplify courseware production and ensure that training products operate on all U.S. Government hardware platforms and IT environments.
Corsair uses Java and Flash technology to assist with simulation production. Training courseware is developed using an open source content creation tool and courseware management system. This courseware development methodology calls for the separation of course content and programming instruction from graphical presentation, ensuring that data can be updated in a fast and efficient manner.
Corsair also deploys the EnvisionTE™ software product to develop interactive real-time gaming in a simulated environment. This tool allows for the production of task-based and collective skill training. The EnvisionTE™ product allows multiple users to interact in an environment which is controlled by an instructor or test proctor. Student performance is tracked for after action-reporting that ensures more effective skills training.
Simulation Technology
Corsair employs various simulation technologies based on the training requirement. These technologies range from simple virtual equipment visualizations to dynamic intelligent tutoring systems and real-time multi station simulation gaming in a 3-D environment. Corsair's simulations can integrate with actual equipment, meet SCORM compliancy requirements, and provide performance assessment and after-action reporting. To ensure playback in government controlled information technology environments, Corsair uses Flash and Java-based simulations.

EnvisionTE™ is an affordable software-based desktop tactical training solution. Its unique open-architecture allows for the inclusion and operation of any simulated airborne, seaborne, or ground based system into a realistic training scenario.
EnvisionTE™ provides the capability to conduct arduous live and on-demand training ranging from interactive core skills exercises through full mission preview/rehearsal using high fidelity 3-D simulation.
EnvisionTE™ allows for off-equipment training and currency maintenance across the full spectrum of combat operations and in all assigned mission areas.
