Corsair Engineering Inc. completed their three-year ISO re-certification in May 2014. Receiving the re-certification with zero non-conformities, observations or opportunities for improvement, Corsair Engineering’s certification includes all elements of the ISO 9001:2008 standard, including design and development. ISO 9001:2008 is an internationally recognized Quality Management standard, which drives continual improvement and promotes best business practices.

This certification exemplifies Corsair’s customer commitment of “doing the right thing” by having an internal proactive quality management system that monitors and measures performance against established goals and objectives. The certification period is for three years, during which time the company will have annual surveillance audits to ensure continued conformance and improvement.

According to Brian Bridges, “I like the fact that we're able to have open discussions about issues that arise from internal audits to formulate the best resolution that works for everyone. It’s not a static, rigid system. We’re a team, and we’re all working toward continual improvement.”

Some of the areas that Corsair was recognized for included continuity folders, hot wash reviews, and development groups implementing JIRA issue-tracking software for courseware and simulation development.

ISO 9001:2008 is a governing standard which tracks quality assurance and standards and ensures that all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements are followed. It is based on a strong customer focus, the motivation and involvement of top management, the process approach, and continual improvement.

Corsair designs, develops, and delivers cost effective integrated human performance solutions that result in measurable value and productivity improvement. For the latest information on Corsair Engineering Inc., please follow them on Facebook and Twitter.
